At the Graystone Inn, every day begins with a delicious breakfast in our English Manor-style dining room. Guests are greeted by soft music and candlelight as they walk down the renaissance staircase to breakfast. The Graystone has its own custom blend of locally roasted coffee, and chilled juices ready for guests to start the day. Homemade breads, muffins, pastries, and fresh fruit and yogurt are available for guests to savor while a full, hot, plated breakfast is freshly prepared. The main dish is chef's choice and varies daily. Local favorites include dishes such as Eggs Benedict, Blueberry Johnny Cakes, the Inn's famous Key Lime Stuffed French Toast, Ginger Pear Pancakes, and assorted frittatas and quiches with savory hams and sausages.
The Graystone Inn is always glad to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and diabetic diets with at least two days advance notice of such dietary restrictions. Just let us know when you make your reservation, and we will specially prepare a breakfast that will give you the energy to explore Wilmington and the Cape Fear area.
A Continental breakfast with a sideboard buffet including juice, cereal, milk, fresh fruit and sweets, is served between 8:30 and 10:00 and a full cooked breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Coffee, tea, beverages and snacks are available any time in the inn's beverage center located on the first floor.
